Join a Game

How to join a game in The Prey: enter the join code, land in the lobby, and get assigned your role by the Game Creator.

  1. Get the join code from the Game Creator. It is displayed in their app on the game lobby screen.
  2. Open The Prey app on your device.
  3. Tap Join Game on the home screen.
  4. Enter the join code and tap Join.
  5. You land in the lobby. Wait for the Game Creator to assign your role.
  6. Grant location permissions when prompted. Select Always Allow.
  7. Once the Game Creator launches the game, your role screen appears. The head start begins immediately.
