The Prey is in closed testing on Google Play. Join the test program, get the Android app early, and help us shape the hunt.
Get In Before the Hunt Goes Live
The Prey is currently in closed testing on the Google Play Store. That means the Android app is only available to a hand-picked group of testers while we sharpen the gameplay, squash bugs, and tune the GPS hunt.
Testing is fully managed through Google Play. Before you can install the app, the The Prey Development Team has to add your Google account to the tester list. Once you're on the list, you opt in through a Google Play link and the app becomes available to download — just like any other app.
Four Steps to the Field
- Send us your Google Play email. Mail the email address tied to your Google Play account to support@theprey.nl. This is the address you use to sign in to the Play Store on your Android device.
- We add you to the testers. The Prey Development Team onboards your account into the closed test. You'll hear back from us once you're in.
- Opt in on Google Play. Open the testing link and tap Become a tester. This confirms your spot in the test program.
- Download and play. Install The Prey from the Play Store and join the hunt. Tell us what breaks, what feels great, and what could be sharper.
What You'll Need
An Android Device
The test app runs on Android phones. There is no iOS build during closed testing.
A Google Account
We onboard the exact Google account you use on the Play Store, so send us that address.
A Sense of Adventure
You'll be running, hiding, and chasing in the real world. Bring good shoes and a charged phone.
